10/13/11 The Grim Reaper

A critic once remarked that Lee Majors had an acting range that included two expressions: grim, and grimmer.

Dedicated to Grym, who has (after 5+ years of dedicated blogging) met the Grim Reaper. RIP, g-man.

  1. ok, you guys forced me to check in again at CC...been a couple weeks since I did this I think. Anyway, funny to see The Wand get riled up over nothing. One of these days I'm gonna start a blog, invite all you fellas to it, and then yell at you all and ban you if you don't agree with me. That should draw in lots of people.

  5. It's a very sad day. I think Bill's comment to Grym was way out of line.

  6. I think the earlier -100 point sell off on the DJIA worked off enough anxiety to allow an end-of-week rally tomorrow.

  8. Hey Mark - Yep that's a CSTR kiosk. They have those, the Gizmo (sells used electronics), and the Seattle's Best Coffee kiosks all in start up phase. I have added zero value to those things in considering the value of the company but they're all potential upsides to the stock price. CSTR is changing the way retailers sell stuff. I believe they're primarily responsible for the downfall of Blockbuster.

Seems like someone decided now would be an opportune moment to kick market fear back up a notch?

  14. Okay, we're well past the 50 SMA, so that at least should provide some support should some sellers attempt their funny business.

Sure beats moving in the wrong direction! ;)
